When I began this painting, I felt just called to paint, to open my heart and allow the emergence and manifestation of what was intended.
Before my eyes the Angel of Happiness appeared as did the gentleman across from her and the Chinese symbol for happiness which is enmeshed within the magical fabric of the Angel's blessing. The sullen shell of a man across from her opens his heart to fully receive her grace and gift of true happiness which he has longed for his entire life.
All the riches in the world can buy but temporary happiness. The true gift of happiness lies in knowing deeply its opposite which is sadness. One cannot truly know the depths of one without truly having deeply met the other.
You can see his heart begin to bloom as he is gifted precious jewels of joy. For now he is truly considered rich.
This painting is magical and comes to life before your eyes. It can be felt deep and will ultimately bless the space in which it is hung and those who encounter it.
